Keeping your student on track with their academics and after-school activities can be a daunting task at times. Leslie launched the company in 2004 after her son was diagnosed with ADHD, Executive Dysfunction and other learning disabilities. Just like I have, she spent countless hours scouring the Internet and reading articles on how she could help her son untangle the world that is ADHD.

When our planner first arrived, I showed it to my eldest son (who has ADHD) and asked him if it was something he would use – daily – and whether he thought it would help him with school. After looking at the Planner User Guide at the front of the planner and then flipping through it, he said, “Yes, I would use it, and it’s a lot better than the agendas they give you at school.” Out of the mouths of babes, right?

As I stated earlier, I have been using the planner for my home, blog, and school committee commitments. Here is an example of what my planner looks like:
I have my “subjects” set up as Home, LiaH Giveaways, LiaH Post Planning, SJMS (middle school PTA and Boosters Club meetings as well as all middle school related events), MES (elementary school PTA meetings as well as all elementary school related events), LiaH stats (a place to record my blog statistics each day or each week), 3BD & Miscellaneous (internship requirements and miscellaneous events and happenings I need to keep track of).
So, as you can see, this planner is highly customizable and super simple to use. I have always been a “wanna-be” when it comes to organization. I’ve purchased every type of planner system imaginable out there, from the less-expensive Day Runner systems to the high-end Franklin Covey systems – nothing has worked for me. Why? Simply because all of the information I needed was scattered throughout the binder in different sections. MY INFORMATION WAS NEVER ALL IN ONE PLACE TO SEE AT-A-GLANCE.
