Avoid Being a Helipad Mommy

Have you ever asked yourself, “are you doing too much for your child?” Mostly, mommies don’t; but it’s important to admit that we don’t have to solve all of their problems. No wonder it’s not easy to avoid their well being but it might not be that crucial all the time- we need to let our children do mistakes and learn their lessons. Parents can never teach kids from their own experiences alone. Yes, keeping an eye is very important and you could do this very well with parental controls for smartphones. So you could avoid being a helipad parent and safeguard them at the same time.

Bearoy Back Seat Organizer: A Must-Have for Every Family on the Go

I love traveling and exploring the sights around me; always on the lookout for a fun activity or event that the entire family will love. The only problem with taking the entire family along is that I usually end up having to drag along half of our household – even for just a day trip! There have been times when after all of our “stuff” has been loaded into the car – there wasn’t any room left for the kids!

I usually have a snack bag, a drink bag, an electronics bag, a lunch bag, a reading/writing bag (generally my junk goes in here) – you get the idea. When I need to find something though, it usually takes me about 15 minutes to dig through everything in the bag to find what I’m looking for.

So when I had the opportunity to review the Bearoy Backseat Organizer I jumped at the chance with summer staycations right around the corner and an entire list of day trips that I want to make around the state with the kids! Let me tell you – this is one item that every single person who travels (kids or no kids) needs to have in their vehicle!

Not So Smart: What’s the Deal with Wisdom Teeth?

You all know that I deal with a really severe dental phobia. When I was in my 20s, it was necessary for me to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Wisdom teeth aren’t so smart, if you think about it. What’s the deal with them, anyway? They grow in, crowd out other teeth, only to be pulled in the dentist’s chair. Here’s what you need to know about them and why they’re so much trouble.

Wisdom teeth are sometimes considered a remnant from pre-human ancestors. Many years ago, human beings had larger mouths, and a slightly different-shaped head. The larger oral cavity allowed wisdom teeth to grow in unimpeded. Today, many people’s mouths are smaller.

According to some experts, the real cause is modern farming, which is correlated with a measured decrease in the size and shape of humans – specifically our head shape. Read on for some more interesting facts!
