America is one of the vastest countries in the world. It is home to some of the things others know and love in the rest of the world in terms of theme parks and food. But when it comes to traveling here, it can be hard to know what state to chose. All of them have their perks, and people head there for different reasons. Some are more expensive than others, and some are more commercialized than others. It really does depend on what type of holiday you want. So if you’re feeling a little confused, we’re here to help. Here are the states that we think are the best in the US and why you should visit them.
Louisiana
We’ll start off with one of the less commercialized places out of the three. But nethertheless, Louisiana is such a great state to visit. You’ll definitely be having more of a laid back holiday if you come here. There’s plenty of accommodation to choose from, all of which are situated in a central location. Just take Sleep Inn Jonesboro as an example. Affordable accomodation that is suitable for anyone. There’s establishments such as this one all along the state. When you’re in the state, one thing we know the whole family will love is the big aquarium. It is home to an array of different species. If you’re looking for something a bit more upbeat then you have to take a visit to Bourbon street on the evening. It is full of jazz music and good vibes that will leave you dancing the night away.
Florida
Florida is definitely more commercialized. It is a firm family favorite purely due to the amount of theme parks and other attractions there are for the family to visit. We guarantee you’ll spend a fortune in Florida, but the experiences you’ll have will be more than worth it. The food is amazing as well. There’s so many different restaurants to choose from that will stack your plate up high with crazy creations. This is more of a family destination than the other two, and the holidays are more pricey if you’re buying all the attraction tickets as well. Make sure you check which time of year is best to go. You might be better off going off season.
Nevada
Nevada is home to the famous Las Vegas. Whether it is famous for the right or wrong reasons, people still flock there every year to get their taste of fun. Whilst Las Vegas and the strip is what a lot of people head there for, you’ve also go the natural wonder of the Red Rock Canyon that people love. If you want an extra special view you can even get helicopter tours that the whole family will love. It is mainly a destinations for couples and singles who are going with a group of friends. You’ll definitely never be short of things to do whilst exploring the strip, and there’s plenty of bars to have a few too many drinks it. We wouldn’t recommend staying there too long though. It is good for a few days!
