The Mission List is recruiting for a large campaign, and we want lots of content creators. We’ll start by saying that you should forward this email to friends you think would be a good fit for this work, too. We have space for a lot of participants for this campaign.
This project comes with a $400 stipend.
You’ve heard all of the stereotypes about the teen years, and this is your chance to change the narrative about adolescence. When we really #seeteens for who they are — super learners who are developing into curious, passionate adults — we celebrate and enhance this period of growth.
The Center for Parent and Teen Communication, part of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, is looking for video creators to highlight the high points of adolescence.
We’re looking for current parents of preteens and teens (between the ages of 11 and 19) as well as parents who have recently been through the teen years (young adults up to 24) to read our 100-word parenting tips and use ONE to create a video (choose your favorite platform: YouTube Short, Facebook Live, a video from your phone, etc — or even an animation) with or without your teen to present the idea to your audience.
Requirements:
- Choose a 100-word parenting idea from a shortlist and answer a 7-question survey about the piece
- Draft an outline of what you’d like to do to present your chosen parenting idea (a paragraph description of the video will suffice)
- Create a brief, non-disappearing (e.g. no Stories) video or animation, and post it on your chosen date
- Do two extra shares — of CPTC’s 100-word parenting idea post itself and CPTC’s 100-word newsletter signup page
If you’d like to be considered and hear more details about this project, please fill out this form by March 31. We’ll be in touch by the beginning of April if you have been selected to participate and will give you more details at that time.
