Cafe Viva Probiotic Coffee Review

Disclosure: I received a 7 day challenge package and Café Viva Probiotic Coffee mug to review.

I had an extensive knowledge of probiotics prior to reviewing Café Viva Probiotic Coffee. Three things in fact.

  1. Jamie Lee Curtis said eating them in Activia would make my tummy happy
  2. Probiotics were some “new health kick” that I knew nothing about
  3. They did something to your stomach that was supposed to make you healthier

Yep, that’s it. Really ‘versed’ on what probiotics were, huh? Well over the past two months I have done some research on probiotics and how they affect your body, your health in preparation for this review. I would like to publicly take this time to express my apologies to Daflorn, LLC for the delay in getting the review posted; however, I would rather give you an informed, honest review and not just slap something together and call it a day.

What are Probiotics?

cafe-viva-boxFirst you need to understand what a probiotic is before you can understand (and appreciate) how Café Viva can help you. In order to understand what a probiotic is, you need to understand what it is your fighting against, and believe me, you ARE fighting against an unseen enemy. Each and every one of us has a parasite that uses our body as its personal feeding ground, it takes over our stomach and our entire gastrointestinal tract and it makes you crave what it wants, and then it destroys your body from the inside out, slowly but surely. You can watch a very long video – but very informative – from Keybiotics. While their video is informative about how probiotics can help repair the damage done by these parasites, I am not endorsing their product simply because after doing my review of probiotics and the different manners in which they are sold – It is my opinion that they do not have the best product on the market. It’s just that simple. Video – yes. Product – no.

Probiotics That Taste Great

Face it, we don’t like to constantly be reminded every moment of every day about our health. We want to know that what we are eating and drinking is good for us and that’s that. We don’t want to have to pop a bunch of vitamins, mineral oils, medications, etc. Enter Café Viva. Café Viva is the first ever probiotic coffee with 3 in 1 benefits – Premium Coffee, Key Nutrients and Probiotics.

The good bacteria found in Café Viva is harvested from pure Bulgarian spring water and the Robusta coffee all naturally. What do you call that? “Ancient wisdom improving modern well-being!”

From the Café Viva website:

Can Café Viva extend your life? Ilya Metchnikoff, head of the Pasteur Institute in Paris, won the 1908 Nobel Prize for Medicine after proving a diet heavy in fermented dairy (the same probiotic blend in Café Viva) was the reason for Bulgarian villagers having the oldest, healthiest and most active population in all of Europe. Metchnikoff is now the undisputed father of modern probiotics. We have taken Metchnikoff’s proven probiotic blend from the same region in Bulgaria. After formulating it for astronauts in the Soviet Space Program, we now offer it to consumers here on earth.

Our Review

My kids are not big fans of coffee. Tre hates it, Jonathan will drink a cup of coffee provided its half milk and half sugar and a splash of coffee. Well when our package arrived, they wanted to know what it was, so I told them. Instant nose wrinkles. So I decided to try to “slip it in on them” and make some smoothies and not tell them what was in it. Only problem was, I had nothing in the house to make the type of smoothie that I wanted, so I improvised.

the life in a house of testosterone cafe viva smoothie

We took about 8 ice cubes and crushed them up nice and fine. Added milk, two or three scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a package of Café Viva. Blend until mixed well and nice and smoothie-like. It made an entire blender full (about a half-gallon).

I poured three cups out for myself and each of the boys and gave a yell.

“I made smoothies! Come and get ’em!”

“What’s in it?” the teenager asked.

“Yeah, what did you make smoothies with Mom?” piped up the tween.

“Milk, ice cream and ice, that’s it. Try them.” They each picked up a cup, cautiously took a sip – and their eyes went wide.

“Oh my God this is good mom!” Sluuuuuuuuuuurrrrrppppp.

“Can I have some more?”

I got one and a half cups out of that particular batch. The boys drank the rest. Best way to get kids to eat healthy without them knowing they are eating healthy? Make a smoothie.

I made smoothies for the next week, and tried it as coffee as well. Drinking it as coffee was a bit strong for me, I preferred having it in a smoothie. The health benefits though? Absolutely phenomenal. I loved it! I was more alert, I had energy, I wasn’t wanting to eat junk food – it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

If you truly care about your health and want to lose weight naturally – I highly recommend checking out the Café Viva Probiotic Coffee. They have a 7 Day Challenge available as well as a 28 day supply. You have the option to buy 1, 2 or 4 boxes of 28 packets each.

Probiotic Alternatives

cafe-vivaEating foods that contain natural probiotics in them is always best, but if you do not have access to foods that are rich in probiotics or you are lactose intolerant and cannot deal with the yogurt probiotics, I highly recommend that you give Café Viva a try. There are supplements available in a pill form that contain probiotics as well, but I honestly do not believe that they can give you the same benefits that Café Viva Probiotic Coffee from Daflorn, LLC will.

It’s JUST THAT GOOD.

    • That’s true @ritaleonard:disqus – there are a lot of foods and drinks that claim to have probiotics added to them, but have you checked the amount of probiotics in them? One cup of Cafe Viva gives you 4 billion probiotics – one of the highest in the industry!
