The Cherry People would be the awesome team behind Cheribundi. They have built the entire company around this amazing little fruit, support the farmers who grow them and have perfected a juicing process that retains all of the cherries delicious benefits. So dear reader, get ready to drink up. The Cherry People are about to rock your world too!

I received a sample variety box of the Cheribundi drinks free of charge to try about two months ago. Yes, I am ashamed to admit that it has taken me this long to get my review written. Trust me; however, it is well worth the wait!

I had the pleasure of opening the box alone for a change (the boys were at school). I could not wait to try the Refresh series out. I am a huge pomegranate, raspberry and cranberry fan, so these were the first three that I wanted to taste. I took a little sip of them when I first took them out of the box. As with most juice drinks – taste much better cold! So into the fridge they went to chill up a bit so we could sample them.

We had a sampling of these drinks shown above as well in the box. Have muscle or joint pain? Heart disease? Trouble sleeping at night? The all natural benefits of this mighty little superfruit could be the answer you need more of. Dr. Oz did a segment on his television show that shows you really simply (and entertainingly) exactly how this little cherry packs a punch in keeping you healthy. Cherries are an extremely rich source of many nutrients and antioxidants. 

While not a particularly healthy blogger (going to the gym is on my list, just at the bottom of the list, and we never seem to reach the bottom of the list) I do love that when we decide to get on the health kick 100% I know what our family will be drinking!

I do not care for green tea unless it has honey mixed in or a smidge of milk and sugar. I’m a black tea drinker. So I was thrilled to see a sample of the cherry tea drinks as well in our box. 

After about an hour, I could not stand the anticipation any longer. The first drink that I tried was the Cherry Pomegranate Refresh drink. I am not a regular juice drinker. I have one or two cups of coffee each day, then I switch to either Pepsi, sweet tea, or water for the remainder of the day. It is very rare that I’ll drink juice unless we are out somewhere, then I will purchase a fruit juice drink over a soda or some other selection.

The tartness shocked me at first, and it took a few sips to get accustomed to the tartness. Once I got past that initial tartness, it was absolutely divine. The juice really did have a perfect blending of the pomegranate and the cherries, neither one overpowering the other. I loved that and this was my most favorite from all of the samples we received.

The second one that I taste tested was the Cherry Black Tea refresh, my second favorite of the samples. This was a symphony of enjoyment for my taste buds. I loved the (again) perfect marriage between the two and how they did not overpower each other.

By the time I was finishing my second one, the boys arrived home from school. I was able to snatch two more drinks from their greedy little mitts before my Cheribundi disappeared. They kidnapped them. I was not allowed to have them back. THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM.

Our local Giant store carries them, and we’ve been back twice since receiving our sample box to buy them. I cannot keep them in the house for more than a day or two when I purchase them. The boys think they have died and gone to heaven when they see those Giant shopping bags on the kitchen table and dive on them the minute they walk in the house.

Needless to say, the Cheribundi family of drinks gets an A+ rating from our family!
