I love my readers – especially those who like to interact with us over on Facebook – so I figured I’d do a little something to give back to all you great folks! We’re hosting a $50 PayPal Cash or Gift Card 10,000 Likes Contest at Life in a House!
Contest rules are simple. The event is open to the public, worldwide, and all you need to do is fill out a quick form and you’re entered to win! Once we reach 10,000 likes (not follows mind you!) we will close the contest and chose a winner at random from the entries received. You do not need to subscribe to the newsletter to be entered to win!

I’ve been hosting this giveaway since July 2017 and still have not reached 10,000 likes on the Facebook page. I’m tired of waiting, I’m tired of having those of you who HAVE liked and entered wait. So the contest will officially close as of 3/31/2019 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time – regardless of how many likes the page has. Only stipulation to winning is that you (a) must have entered your information on the form and (b) like our Facebook page.

Awh! Thanks Debbie!!! I've been battling a wicked upper respiratory infection for the past two weeks – just finished the second treatment of steroids. They gave me antibiotics the first week and my body just laughed it's ass off at that feeble attempt so they brought out the big guns. Felt like it was trying to double back on me last night (felt like crap this morning) but I made myself get up and start moving around and feel a little better. Other than that I've been doing great and had a great time at the pool yesterday for a bit. What do you think of the new blog design?
