It is absolutely FRIGID outside today. It also happens to be my 47th birthday, and I am not in the mood to stand over the stove and cook dinner on my birthday. So this delicious crockpot soup recipe is what is on the menu for dinner tonight, courtesy of Table for Seven!
You cannot tell me that does not get your mouth watering – and crockpot soup is a thousand times better than store bought soup any day! I was eyeballing the cans of Campbell’s New England Clam Chowder that are stockpiled in the cabinet for just such an occasion, but decided this would be much, much better as a birthday treat!

_themaven I don't know why but I never thought of doing soups in the crock pot either … this turned out so well that I'm on the hunt for some additional crock pot soup recipes to share. I'm hooked! This was absolutely delicious!
