The film highlights the start of Stevenson’s career and his commitment to challenging injustice and inequality in America.
In 2018, Stevenson opened The Legacy Museum and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Both of these highly acclaimed sites serve as national landmarks that recognize the legacy of slavery, lynching, racial segregation, and their relationship to today’s mass incarceration and racial bias.
