Spring is in full swing, summer right around the corner, and we are about to enter into graduation season! It is one of my most favorite times of the year – watching these young adults who have struggled and worked so hard to get to this point, where they can graduate from high school or college, and start living their dreams. This year in particular is a bittersweet graduation year for me. A young lady that I have watched grow up via Facebook and through emails with her mother over the years, is graduating from Scranton High School this year with a voice like an angel and dreams of Broadway on her mind.
Grace Harvey is one of the most intelligent, expressive, entertaining individuals that I have the pleasure of knowing. Even when she was little, she kept her mother (Dana) and her father (Patrick) on their toes! A military brat, Grace has traveled up and down the East Coast of the United States with her family and Patrick’s various duty stations. She has never been one to have a shortage of friends, her personality is so bubbly and happy that she just naturally attracts people to her.

Grace is a member of the Knight Rhythms Show Choir of Scranton High School in Pennsylvania. The Knight Rhythms performed at the annual ShowFusion Show Choir Competition at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia on April 18, 2015. I was absolutely thrilled at the quality of the keepsake star! The picture really does not do it justice. The keepsake measures 5″ x 5″ with edges measuring 3/4″ thick. It is absolutely gorgeous. I could not wait until the competition was over for the Knight Rhythms so that I could give Grace her graduation gift. She absolutely loved it!
