Some of my favorite features are the 3.5 – 5.6 zoom lens which is great for everyday shots, including everything from landscapes to awesome close-ups. Great detail, even in extremely low light (for kids who want you to shoot videos at 11pm at night with low lighting – yes, that’s my world). In keeping with the whole video theme – there is the ability to shoot in 1080p full HD video in a number of recording sizes and frame rates, with continuous auto focus tracking of moving (i.e. dancing tweens) and other subjects.

That should give you a really good idea as to why we are absolutely in love with this camera! But wait – there’s more fun to be had!

  1. Boy I would love to get this for my daughter who takes a lot of pictures. It would make a wonderful Christmas present.

  2. I really was excited this year about the deals at Best Buy. The deals they had on cameras and electronics were amazing.

  3. In order to ever own one of these cameras, I'd be lucky to receive one as a gift or win one in a giveaway! But I need to have something as I would like to take pictures to have memories of my youth. Not to mention wanting to capture all of those precious times with family & friends. And in my case I havent had my photo taken since I received my last gift (that was when I was 9), it has been 20 -plus years now and the moments (Christmas morning, graduations, birthdays, family reunions and more) are upcoming! That’s where it would have been nice to have that of what I once owned; prior to being injured in an accident (car & pedestrian) which was the driver's fault but she had no insurance! This resulted in me having to sell that of alot of what I once thought was important (laptop – sports memorabilia).
