I was traveling the world wide web the other day and came across this truly unique site – thredUP. It’s just like a consignment store (which I absolutely love, love, love!) but ONLINE.

They purchase consignment-quality kids and women’s clothing from families just like ours, and then they hand-select the best clothes and post them in their online store for you to purchase, and then they are “wrapped with love and shipped from sunny California” as their site says!

You can order a free thredUP Clean Out bag online, you fill the bag with like-new clothing and put it out for the mailman (shipping is free!) and then they inspect your clothes when they arrive and pay you up to 40% of the resale value – UPFRONT! No waiting for the clothing to sell, but they due have strict quality standards to adhere to so be sure and read them before shipping so you aren’t disappointed!
