Since my boys are past the stage of going house to house collecting candy on Halloween (okay, if they were allowed to they would but they are both over the age limit) we’ve been checking out some pranks to pull on our fellow residents during the annual office Halloween party and for some to set up at our own home.
Did you know that Best Buy has a bunch of awesome ideas to help you out in the prank department? I honestly would never have thought of Best Buy being able to help with some of the pranks that I want to pull but they have got a ton of great ideas! I bet you’re going to be as pleasantly surprised as I was!
We shared several Halloween pranks that we thought were hilarious on our Sunday’s Best Linkup and our family favorite is definitely the Haunted House Preserved Head prank.
All you need is a digital camera, a printer, a laminator, a wireless speaker, some spooky music, and you are in business!
Take a frontal and side digital photo of your friend (or whomever’s head you want in a jar), open the images in a photo editing program like Adobe – Photoshop CS3 and blend the images together till you get a spooky wrap-around look. Laminate your photo, fill your jar up with water, slip the laminated photo inside, and then add it to a kitchen cabinet or put it in the refrigerator. Have a wireless speaker hidden nearby that you can control from your smartphone, and when someone opens the cabinet door or the fridge – hit play and watch the fun!
Check out all of the frightful pranks that Best Buy has cooked up in their cauldron this season for you such as Snap-a-Fright, Skitter & Scare, Mirror Mirror, and the Wicked Washroom. You’re sure to find something that will give your trick-or-treaters a frightfully good scare!
