Kick Off Your Summer with These Delicious Cocktails

Memorial Day weekend has always been the unofficial kickoff to the summer season here in the United States. Summer is a time for light and refreshing drinks, grilling over an open fire, and spending time with family and friends. These cocktails are perfect for any occasion this summer and we hope that you enjoy them!

Tom Collins

Ingredients

  • 3 parts Purity Vodka
  • ½ lemon quartered
  • ¾ parts simple syrup
  • Soda water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except soda water into a shaker with ice and shake until cold.
  • Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top with soda.
  • Garnish with lemon (twist, wheel or wedge)

Peach Nectar Ginger Beer

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. Handcrafted Peach Vodka
  • 3.5 oz. Brooklyn Crafted Ginger Beer Mini in Mango
  • Peach Slices and Mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix peach vodka and Brooklyn Crafted Ginger Beer Mini in Mango.
  • Garnish with sliced peaches and mint over ice.

Summer's Companion

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Campari
  • 1 muddled strawberry
  • 4 ounces rosé chilled
  • 2 ounces Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade
  • Orange twist for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine Campari, muddled strawberry, and rosé into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake well then pour into a glass over fresh ice and top with Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade.
  • Garnish with the orange twist and serve.

Tropical Flower Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of coconut rum
  • 1 cup of mango juice
  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • ¼ cup of grenadine
  • 2 cups Sparkling Ice Coconut Pineapple
  • Edible flowers for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large punch bowl, combine the coconut rum, mango juice, grenadine, Coconut Pineapple Sparkling Ice and stir.
  • Fill glasses with ice and ladle in the punch, garnish with edible flowers serve.

Frozé Watermelon Granita

A delicious drink to cool off with - you can purchase your sorbet from a gourmet market or make your own - directions included!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé
  • 1 quart watermelon-rosemary sorbet store bought or recipe below
  • 2 cups diced seedless watermelon

Instructions

  • Spoon a scoop of sorbet into the bottom of a chilled glass and top with a tablespoon or so of the watermelon cubes.
  • Pour the Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé over the sorbet and melon.
  • Garnish with mint.
  • Serve immediately with a silver spoon.

HERE'S HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN WATERMELON SORBET:
Ingredients For Homemade Watermelon Sorbet:
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 cup water
3 sprigs of rosemary
3 pounds seedless watermelon cut into cubes (about 10 cups)
½ cup lime juice
¼ cup and 2 tablespoons tequila
Directions for Homemade Watermelon Sorbet:
In a small saucepan bring the sugar, water, and rosemary to a boil.
Remove it from the heat and let it cool to room temperature, then strain.
Combine the rosemary syrup, watermelon, lime juice, and tequila in a blender and process until smooth.
Strain through a fine-mesh sieve and refrigerate overnight.
Freeze the sorbet "granita-style" by putting it in the freezer and stirring every hour for five hours.

Sparkling Pimm's Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 blood orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 cucumbers sliced
  • 1 lb whole strawberries
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves
  • One 750-ml bottle Pimm's No. 1
  • 1 cup gin
  • 4 1/2 cups Sparkling Ice Strawberry Lemonade

Instructions

  • In a large punch bowl, combine the blood oranges, lemons, cucumbers, strawberries, and half of the mint.
  • Pour in the Pimm's, gin, and Sparkling Ice Strawberry Lemonade, stir until combined.
  • Fill glasses with ice and ladle in the punch, garnish with the remaining mint and serve.

Soaked Watermelon Slice Popsicles

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup tequila
  • ½ cup Sparkling Ice Strawberry Watermelon
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 1 pound watermelon

Instructions

  • Stir together tequila, Sparkling Ice Strawberry Watermelon, and lime juice in a large bowl.
  • Cut watermelon into wedges and soak in Sparkling Ice mixture for 15 minutes.
  • Insert popsicle sticks into wedges then freeze on a rack-lined baking sheet for 1 hour.

Raspberry Peach Pops

Ingredients

Raspberry layer

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • ¼ cup Prosecco
  • ½ bottle Sparkling Ice Grape Raspberry
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Peach layer

  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • ¼ cup Prosecco
  • ½ bottle Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  • To make the raspberry layer, purée raspberries, Prosecco, Sparkling Ice Grape Raspberry, and sugar in a blender until very smooth.
  • Fill each popsicle mold ½ full with raspberry mixture.
  • Freeze while you make the peach purée.
  • To make the peach layer, purée peaches, Prosecco, Sparkling Ice Peach Nectarine, and sugar in a blender until very smooth.
  • Pour peach mixture over raspberry mixture to fill molds.
  • Freeze until firm, at least 2 hours.

Citrus Punch

  • 2 cups vodka
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 bottles Sparkling Ice Orange Mango
  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 blood orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Pineapple slices

Instructions

  • Pour the vodka, lime juice, pineapple juice, Sparkling Ice Orange Mango, and nutmeg in a large punch bowl.
  • Toss in orange, blood orange, lemon slices and stir.
  • Fill glasses with a ladle, garnish with fresh pineapple.
