I cannot even begin to try and count the amount of times that I have lost my faith. It happens to all of us at one point or another. We begin to wonder how there possibly could be a Higher Power when there is so much wrong with the world around us.
When things are going horribly wrong and nothing seems to be working in your favor, it’s easy to blame God, to turn your back on Him. In my experiences; however, those have been the very instances when I have seen His love and grace in abundance when I allowed myself to stop trying to “fix” things myself and just turned the issue over to God and allowed Him to deal with it.

Sometimes in life, regardless of how long our faith has gone missing, all it takes is one event to help us see that through faith and belief there really is rebirth and redemption for all of us.
Grace of God is a 99 minute inspirational family film based on the Ten Commandments from our friends at eOne Films US and stars Primetime Emmy Award nominee, John Ratzenberger (“Cheers,” WALL-E, Toy Story), Erin Bethea (Fireproof, Letters to God), and Lorenzo Lamas (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” and “Falcon Crest”).
Having lost his faith many years ago, Detective Bill Broadly is called to investigate the disappearance of the local church’s collection plate. As he questions the various church members, rumors begin to swirl as more congregants learn about the theft. When one unexpected church-goer confesses to stealing the funds, the confession resurrects Broadly’s views on God, and helps him to see that through faith and belief, there really is rebirth and redemption.
I personally thoroughly enjoyed this movie and Dove.org has given it a 12+ faith friendly rating. The film itself is not rated. You can find out more on the official Grace of God website.
