I love having the opportunity to make some memories with the kids whenever I get the chance – and Kmart understands this. When you think of summer you automatically think of outdoor activities, fun in the sun, camping, picnics, splashing in the pool, vacations, and more. I remember when I was a child, I absolutely loved being able to eat my meals outside while reading a favorite book or just watching the birds fly about and feeling the sun on my face. My mom and dad always made sure that we had a picnic table on our back porch so we could enjoy summer meals outdoors. That memory has stayed with me, and I am thrilled to be able to pass along this family tradition to some little friends of ours – Jaxson, Braylin, and Hazel!
Kmart has an adorable kid-size picnic table from American Plastic Toys, Inc. that fits the bill – indoors or outdoors! While my two boys have outgrown their picnic table I had for them, I was thrilled to be able to give Jaxson, Braylin, and Hazel the opportunity to have their own little picnic table to have fun with! Unfortunately, Hazel is on vacation with her mother at the moment, so Jaxson and Braylin tested out the table and will gleefully report on the fun they had with it when she gets home!
Jaxson (naturally) had to help assemble the picnic table.
The directions are clearly marked on the side of the box and assembly from start to finish (with a little helper) took about 20 minutes. Jaxson couldn’t wait to give it the munch test.
According to Jaxson, the table was popcorn munching perfection! The real test would come in the morning, when it was time for breakfast. You didn’t honestly expect them to eat breakfast at the regular table when they had their own table, did you?
As you can see, Jaxson and Braylin are loving their special table and can’t wait to tell Hazel about it when she gets home! The great thing about this table is it is lightweight, and easy to move from indoors to outdoors, making meals for the kids and fun activities a breeze for mom and dad. This table is just right for children age 3 to 7 years old, and will surely become a favorite in your household as well!
