Must-See: Massachusetts

Situated in the heart of New England, Massachusetts is filled with attractions. From exciting adventure parks, historical trails, fun festivals and relaxing beach escapes, you’ll find endless things to do when you’re in town. 

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Massachusetts several times, and no matter the season, it is always a beautiful state that enthralls even the most seasoned traveler.

See The Sights

No matter where you go to in Massachusetts, you’re sure to be surrounded by stunning views and interesting sights. The coastal city of Quincy offers the perfect mix of vibrant nightlife, bustling stores, and relaxing beaches, while a harbor cruise on the Boston Spirit allows you to see the skyline from a whole new viewpoint.

The craggy shorelines and rolling hills of Hingham are a hidden treasure in Massachusetts, but well worth a visit. Located on 251 acres of land, you can explore on foot or by bike and take in the vast woodlands and scenic lakes. 

Bash Bish Falls is the most popular waterfall in the state and its location next to the Mount Washington State Forest makes it a fantastic place to visit. With endless natural attractions throughout the state, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Attend World-Class Events

The world-class venues throughout Massachusetts mean you’ll have the perfect opportunity to take in a game or watch a show while you’re in town. The Gillette Stadium, in particular, is ideal for sports and music fans alike.

As the home of the New England Patriots, the Gillette Stadium hosts a number of NFL games throughout the season. If you’re traveling to Massachusetts to see your favorite team in action, you’ll find plenty of hotels nearby, including this North Attleboro lodging, which offers comfortable rooms, handy minibars, and free Wi-Fi. If sports aren’t your thing, you’ll find plenty of major artists taking up residence at the Gillette Stadium, so book now before it’s too late.

When you want to boost your adrenaline levels, Massachusetts in the perfect destination. The Zoar Outdoor center in the Berkshires offers white water rafting, paddle-boarding, canoeing, kayaking, zip-lining, rock climbing, and even cross-country skiing. Alternatively, the CoCo Key Water Park in Danvers and the Beanstalk Adventure Rope Course in Reading are perfect for youngsters and adults alike.

From Go-Kart Grand Prix and canopy walks to attractions at the Edaville Family Theme Park and mountain biking down the Minuteman Bikeway, Massachusetts offers high-octane adventures for all ages. 

Go Back In Time

Rooted in history and filled with culture, Massachusetts is the perfect place to explore the past. Visit the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown before heading to Plymouth to see how the pilgrims lived. From the Plimoth Grist Mill to the Jenney Museum, you’ll find a wealth of attractions in this area alone. 

With walking tours along the Freedom Trails, 18th-century life at the Old Sturbridge Village and mock trials in infamous Salem, you’ll never run out of things to do in the cultural heart of New England.
