I have to admit, I’m quite proud of this little rose bush that is right outside my living room. I have been nursing and coaxing it along for the past five years that we have lived here. It had not done much until I trimmed it last year. Had it cut down almost all the way so that new shoots could grow and the old ones that (appeared) to have died would stay trimmed down.
This spring, the rose bush went NUTS. I think The Man Thing was putting Miracle Gro in the ground around it to help it along or something – because this thing has gotten HUGE in a matter of months – like it’s on steroids!
We just had a nice, soaking rain here – and look what my bush has done:
All of those gorgeous roses just getting ready to burst open! Can’t wait to show them all to you!
