Random Acts of Kindness

rakThere is just not enough love in the world, in my opinion. If there were – we wouldn’t be having the problems that we are having. Quite honestly, I don’t think there is ever a point where you have “enough” love. The more you receive, the more your heart can hold, and the more you are capable of giving. One of my resolutions for 2013 is to perform at least one random act of kindness for a complete stranger each month. There are oodles of ideas out there – all you have to do is use your imagination. Like this particular RAOK I found on Facebook today. What an absolutely novel idea – one that surely put a smile on a complete stranger’s face.

    1. Thanks Kelly! I'm going to be enlisting the YTC and ETC to do random acts of kindness as well. I figure if I can teach 'em while they are young – then it will carry forward when they become adults and move out on their own. Trying to raise kids the right way in this day and age is no easy task that's for sure! Thanks for visiting!

    1. I couldn't agree with you more! If everyone just keep the "warm and fuzzies" that they feel during the holiday season (loving one another, being a little kinder, etc.) all year long – this world would be back on track again in no time. If each of us do our own small part to make it happen – who knows … 2013 might be the year we effect a positive change around the world!

    1. Thanks Amanda! I get a kick out of being able to do something nice for a total stranger and seeing their (a) complete look of shock on their face and then (b) the grin that inevitably follows. It's my way of spreading some love around the world! Thanks for sharing!Oh by the way – which Starbucks did you say you go to? LOL!!!
