If you know me – even as an acquaintance – you know I love candles. One look at my house will tell you that much! I have candles EVERYWHERE and I love their unique scents.
So I was thrilled to receive these beautiful candles from Belvedere Home to review. To start off with, the packaging is absolutely beautiful and does not even need gift wrap if you are giving as a gift to someone! They also come with this festive orange bag that you can use as a gift bag – the box fits perfectly inside with plenty of room for tissue paper to hide the goodies!

As soon as you open the box, the aroma of these candles weaves their way to your senses and you cannot wait to open them!
These four natural scented candles from Belvedere Home have been beautifully crafted and are so aromatic! It is like stepping into your very own private spa with these beautiful scents. The scents are divine – not too overpowering (even my husband liked them and he hates most candles!) and they gave off beautiful scents within a minute of lighting them.
With regards to opening, however, they are not easy to open for those with cubital tunnel syndrome. You need to use a bit of force to pop the lids up and off which is something I could not do without the use of a butter knife. Once you break the seal and hear that “pop” though, they are easy to remove.
The upside is, they are compact and travel-ready with these tight-fitting lids, so they are perfect to take wherever you go. Put them in the camper, take them along for an outdoor event, a romantic picnic in the park, vacation, anywhere you want really!
I love that these candles are made from eco-friendly materials. They are 100% naturally biodegradable and eco-friendly, use pure soy wax, and will burn for 20-25 hours.
I did notice that the candle in the bathroom burnt down the middle and left a ring of candle wax around the tin. More than likely because my husband opened the window and with the wind blowing in through the window, it caused the candle to not burn evenly. This has not happened to the others that I’ve used.
Never fear though! There is a simple fix if you have a husband who does not understand the mechanics of candle burning either!
I love that these candles are pure soy wax candles. You don’t get any of that black smoke when you put the candle out or that burnt wick scent. (One of the reasons hubby doesn’t like candles)
You get a lot of candle for your buck too in each decorative tin, and did I mention these adorable tins are totally reusable after the candle is gone? You can create your own candles and reuse the tins (which I plan to do with two of them) but I am definitely keeping two of them on my desk – one for paper clips and one for thumbtacks. Why you might ask? Teenager in the house that likes to steal my thumbtacks and paper clips – need I say more?
