We are about halfway through the summer vacation (depending on when your kids go back to school) and right about now, you’re running out of things to do with the kids to keep them entertained, right? We’ve got a few life-saving tips for you with today’s post. Not only are there things to keep the kids happy, there is a special winery tour guide that is a must-have for parents! Enjoy what’s left of your summer!

I love pinning places to visit and things to do on my Pinterest boards for those “one day” adventures. When hubby tells me we’re taking a vacation on such and such a date – find a place for us to disappear to – I’ve got a million and one different options at my fingertips!

Beating summer boredom is no different. The boys have reached the stage where the teenager doesn’t want to be at home (“It’s boring at home, Mom! I just want to hang out with my friends and have some fun. There’s nothing to do at home!”) and has taken to just popping in for about 20 minutes once a week and dash right back out again. My youngest is a bit more tolerant (and loving that he’s got run of the house without having to worry about his brother lurking around a corner) but still beginning to get a bit bored.
