The bathroom is one room our family couldn’t do without. It certainly sees a lot of traffic and use. However, I sometimes wish that it was more of stylish and clean looking room than it is. Luckily, I have discovered that there are some easy ways that you can use to create a more stylish bathroom, read on to find out what they are.
Replace the bath
First of all, why not replace the bath to give your bathroom a new look? This action makes sense because the tub is usually the most significant feature in the room, so by changing this you can create an entirely different feeling.
Of course, picking a new bath isn’t always the easiest of tasks with so many choices on the market. Glass cabinets are a fantastic way of brightening up bathroom space and making it look immaculate and modern. For anyone that hasn’t seen these, they are cabinets with a plastic coating that keep them looking shiny at all times.
In particular gloss, sink stands can work well, especially ones that are standalone, as again as the baths can create that send of space. Although whether you can install a countertop like this in your bathroom, often does depend on the plumbing and whether you would be happy to change this during your renovation.
Tile the walls and floor
Tiles are amazing in bathrooms. They are waterproof, easy to clean, hygienic, and if chosen well can look great. In fact, they are so attractive and practical that I say why not use them for the walls and the floor.
Now, to get this right, it is vital that you don’t use the same tiles on both the floor and the walls as this can create more of a prison cell effect, rather than a stylish bathroom! Instead, use oblong gloss tiles on the walls, which are easy to keep clean, and then go for a more natural hewn surface on the floor like slate or stone for a super stylish finish.
