One of the highlights of the holiday season each year is the Richmond Tacky Lights Tour that encompasses Richmond, Virginia and all of the surrounding counties who have some totally awesome people who love to deck their halls for everyone to enjoy each year.
A special treat this year? There are already several homes that are decked out in their holiday finery and will begin viewing schedules on Thanksgiving Day! To find out which homes are having their grand illuminations this weekend, click here for the Richmond Times-Dispatch article by Colleen Curran.
We have an interactive map below that will help you plan your tour this season. More lightbulbs will appear as more homes are finished being decorated and added to the list.
You can also download the app to plan your tour from Google Play and the iTunes Store. Check out the article from the Richmond Times Dispatch and get email updates if you’d like, or follow them via social media on Facebook. Of course, if you don’t feel like driving yourself, you can always visit the website at www.richmondtackylighttour.com and rent a tour bus or a limousine to drive you around while you enjoy the sights!

I LOVE light tours, Christmas lights make me so happy! 🙂 This is definitely my favorite tradition/memory as a kid, I hope to start doing it with my little ones now.
I’m glad that your family gets to enjoy the decorations at this time of year. I drove a school bus in Montana several years ago. We picked up nursing home residents and gave them the tour of decorated subdivisons. As I drove I could hear oo’s and ahs. This was a Christmas that I will never forget.
i would love to see this, so much better than the “Classy ” tours hahahah
