One of the reasons that I started blogging was to enable me to share some really cool stuff with my readers and help them out with things that we, as a family, deal with on a daily basis as well. One of those things is being able to save some freaking money.
I just dashed to the convenience store across the street to pick up two items (less than $7.00). I wanted to take Molly as well so she could romp around in the huge field next to the store with the boys, so off we went. By the time the two teenagers were done begging for their snacks, I had spent over $20.
That is just one example of how finances can spiral out of control if you aren’t careful with your spending. All it takes is a few tag-along trips to the store with teenagers and you’re left with pennies to your name.

I don’t think it matters what age your children are (unless they’re infants). If they’re with you when you jet to the 7-11 or CVS, you’re coming out with more than just a pack of gum! Oh, and thanks for the heads up on those deals. lol
It gets out of hand quickly! It seems that it is those little purchases like $5 that add up to be the surprise. I think the wood watches are really cool.
