Welcome to the 73rd week of Turn It Up Tuesday! Thank you for joining us for another week of linking and connecting!
My sincere apologies for getting the Turn It Up Tuesday post published late! I had the flu all last week, and then Friday I was hit with a norovirus so hard that I think I expelled a few items I ate back in 1970! So let’s get this party started right now since I’m back in shape!
Last week, we had 299 links – what a great week! We’d like to thank each and every one of you for making every week so amazing! Keep sharing your amazing posts with us here on Turn It Up Tuesday!
Can you believe that Valentine’s Day is on Saturday? We can’t! And we’re celebrating the holiday of love here on Turn It Up Tuesday this week. Share all of your Valentine’s Day posts, love posts, inspirational posts – anything at all! We can’t wait to read your amazing posts! The hosts and guest hosts will be able to select 2 posts each for the Featured posts, and we’ll be naming 4 posts Best of the Best! 🙂
Turn It Up Tuesdays is all about being happy, excited, energetic…and having fun! Link up your favorite posts (old or new) and meet some awesome bloggers in return! Link up your funny stories, DIY posts, recipes, mommy moments — anything at all. We want to laugh, be entertained, be inspired, and have a good time!
Thanks so much to everyone that joins us each week and makes this blog hop the best that it could be!
SPONSOR OF THE MONTH
Andrea Keeney is a writer, blogger, mother, and wife. She is the creator of the blog, Parenting with Parents as well as the author of the book, Moms: As Elite as the C.I.A….Well Almost. When she isn’t pursuing her dreams of writing she is taking care of her three small children.
Attention! There is an elite group of women walking freely among the average citizens of the world. These freakishly instinctive beings are capable of physical, mental, and emotional acts of greatness. They tend to appear irritated, exhausted, and are almost always bombarded by very tiny renegades who are whining and/or yelling. These women come in many shapes and sizes, however they all respond to a single name: Mom. If you know one of these women, if you are one of these women, or if you are going to be one of these women, you need this book!

Here are the Featured posts from last week!
Lisa chose How I More Than Doubled My Page Views in 2 Months from Budget Girl. “This post was excellent and filled with information that all types of bloggers can use. I learned so much from this one article and already want to implement many of her tips to improve my blog and the traffic to it. It was well written, provide many links to the tips she mentioned, and was explained in a way that was easy to understand. Loved it!”
Elaine also chose this post. “Good solid advice. I am implementing her recommendations immediately.”
Tina also chose this post. “A very informative post that will help anyone who wants to increase traffic to their blog . What a great post. Thanks so much for sharing!”
Natasha also chose this post. “I am really loving all of these tips! I will be working on ways to make this happen on my blog right away!”
Tiffany chose The Importance of Passion from Cayla & Ashley. “I’ve always believed that passion can help you take a mere desire to a reality. This post definitely helps reiterate that belief.”
April also chose this post. “With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’m really trying to think about what it means. For me, it means rekindling the passion for my relationship. I love this post and I’m working to be more of a passionate person.”
Kelly chose Leftover Mashed Potato Gnocchi from NY Foodie Family. “I hate wasting food and am always on the look out for easy recipes to use up those leftovers. This recipe sounds simple and I can’t wait to try it out! It’s summer time here in Australia so we haven’t been eating a lot of mashed potato but we eat loads in the cooler months. I’ll be testing this out then.”
Rhonda chose 6 Ways to Prepare for Overnight Guests (Free Welcome Letter Printable) from The Bajan Texan. “Her tips will make a guest room feel like a luxury hotel. I’m going to incorporate a few, I just hope my guest will leave after my makeover.”
Sarah chose Elsa Inspired DIY Wand Craft from Crafts Unleashed. “I feel guilty not picking a Valentine’s Day craft, but I just loved this DIY Elsa wand too much. (I blame it on having three nieces). I’d like to make it with/for my nieces as well as feel like a princess for a day myself. :)”
Mari chose Chicken, Potatoes, & Broccoli from Just Mi. “I love me some one pot meals, less cleanup time the better. This week I picked Mionna’s dish because it was so colorful and healthy.”
Mari also choose Duet: One Pot Cheesy Chicken Pasta / Grouplove “Spreading Rumours” from Cooking with Vinyl. “I also picked Becky’s cheesy dish because well she got me at cheesy!!!”
Zografia chose Craft Challenge: Cardboard Boxes into Crafty Drawers from Redo It Yourself Inspirations. “I loved her bright idea of using cardboards for making drawers. And the leather drawer pulls is a beautiful detail.”
Stacey chose A Valentine’s Day Candy Bouquet from Fry Sauce and Grits. “What a wonderful and festive idea for a Valentine gift, that would be amazingly fun for the kids to take part in. They could create their own with their favorite candies or one to give as a gift. Thank you so much for sharing!”
Silvie chose How to Make a Man Bouquet for Valentine’s Day from Pretty Simple Ideas. “I chose this post as my favorite because I loved this idea and I’m sure my hunny will love the one I will be making for him. All thanks to this post. :)”
Danielle chose Why I No Longer Use The Word Weak from Mother 2 Mother. “I love this post because I empowers me as a woman im the workforce and as a woman trying to be a good mother. There are so many opinions on how women should conduct themselves in corporate America and as parents that we tend to focus on the negative. It is nice to see someone taking credit for all the good.”
Latisha chose Before I was a Mother, I was just like a Toddler from Mum-bo-jumbo.com. “This is one of my favorite post this week, because I can relate to it somewhat. It brought to light what I have been seeing in myself lately as a mother. Children have a way of causing you to see your child-like behaviors in yourself through them. When my eight year old daughter has another emotional breakdown, I see me. In see me in my 5 year old son’s obsessiveness and impatience. I guess in some ways we are all still like toddlers.”
Nancy chose Secret Love Letter Pendant (Tutorial) from Jewelry Making Journal. “I love it because it is a unique handmade gift!”
