Nothing says AMAZING FUN for children and animals alike like a good old-fashioned blizzard! Winter Storm Jonas 2016 has not disappointed in that department, leaving behind a foot or more of snow for most areas impacted by the storm here in the south.
The Jonas Brothers are taking having a winter blizzard named after them all in stride.
So… Winter storm JONAS is coming. This is awkward.

Mollyanna got her fifteen minutes of fame when her photo was featured online by our local Richmond Times-Dispatch snow shots from readers:
They also featured one of my photos of Stonewall Parkway in Mechanicsville, VA with one lone person walking down the street:
Two of our little neighbors had a ball out playing in the snow today too!
I cannot wait for the snow to finish this evening and to get out there tomorrow and build a snowman and snap a few more photos of the neighborhood kids playing in the snow! We’re having a best snow photo contest at our apartment community too so this is going to be loads of fun to see everyone’s photos!
Tre took a walk outside this evening to see how deep the snow really was (I measured 12.5 inches around 2PM this afternoon) and came back in looking like a human snowman!
Smithsonian’s National Zoo
Tian Tian woke up this morning to a yard full of snow too, and from the looks of things, he was pretty excited about it! Now this is just too adorable for words. If this doesn’t make you smile, nothing will!
How about you? What have you been doing during #Snowmageddon2016? We’d love for you to share your photos with us on our Facebook page or in the comments below! We will be sharing more photos with you tomorrow!
Have a Great Week!
