1cupsalsawe used hot chunky salsa for more flavor
2cupchicken brothwe used 30% reduced sodium broth

Instructions
Add rice to the rice cooker pot and rinse well 2-3 times until water is clear
Drain as much water as possible from the pot
Add your cubed smoked sausage, salsa, chicken broth, and onion to the pot
Press the "Cook" button
Notes
TIPYour rice should be fully cooked after one cycle using a rice cooker, taste just in case. If needed, you can press the "Cook" button again and allow a few more minutes to cook.

No worries, man! After you wash your rice, add all the remaining ingredients into a regular pot and cook UNCOVERED on medium-high heat; just until the chicken broth starts boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook COVERED for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and tender.
