X Out Review

I remember high school like it was just yesterday. I remember days when I would skip school and pretend to be sick, simply because I had an acne breakout. I don’t want my boys to suffer the way that I did, which is why I was excited to have the opportunity to participate in an Influenster Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for X Out. I received samples of X Out to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating.

Teens and Acne

X Out is a unique one-step wash-in treatment that washes powerful, breakout fighting medicine into pores to help kill the bacteria that causes pimples,  while moisturizing and helping to protect the skin. When I was a teenager, our go-to product was an astringent that made your face feel as though it were freezing off, and it would dry your skin out terribly. It didn’t work for me, and I wasn’t about to subject my boys to that either. The X Out formula is paraben and sulfate-free and is non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested, so it’s suitable for all skin types.

Jonathan had inquired about using Proactiv – the makers of X Out – but considering the various steps that are involved in using Proactiv, I knew he wouldn’t use it as intended. We tried several other over-the-counter acne medications you can purchase at your local drugstore, but nothing seemed to actually help control his acne.

I love that X Out is designed to be used by itself. No other steps needed in order to fit skincare into our busy teenager’s life. Jonathan has enjoyed being able to be in and out of the bathroom literally in minutes every morning. We received the following items:

x out products

  • (2) X Out Wash-In Treatment
  • (1) X Out Spot Corrector
  • (1) X Out Shine Control
  • (1) X Out Cleansing Body Bar

Jonathan has not verbally been overly concerned about his acne, but it is a mom concern for me, knowing how cruel children can be. He alternates between horrendous breakouts to just one or two small pimples. He is currently using the products provided, and I’ve noticed a change. We both feel as though the products are working, but there are extenuating circumstances such as diet and medications that could effect how well the X Out can work.

Excuse the sleepy expression and the mussed hair … he had just woken up and I knew if I didn’t snap his photo then I’d never get it!

I will have to ask my granddaughter if she would try this. She has tried many programs that did not work for her. I have never hear of this one.
